Stephen Majekodunmi

PERSONAL TRAINER

Fitness has regularly been part of my lifestyle since the early days of childhood when I was growing up learning and playing various sports such as Football and Tennis. The unconditional passion and devotion I have for Fitness is something that I like to share with other people and understanding the importance of exercising and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Through this passion, I decided to pursue a career in the health and fitness industry in 2019 after completing the qualification the year before. The qualification has provided me with the opportunity to work in a gym facility and make the most of my expertise. This has enabled me to help guide people on their fitness journey to achieving life-changing results, transform them into becoming competent athletes, and ultimately promote optimal health and longevity in the community. Along with the fitness qualification, I also do boxercise pad instructing for people looking to learn the fundamental techniques of boxing.

2:15 – 3 pm: Conducting a gym tour for potentials interested in signing up for the gym or for members that are using the gym for the first time. Demonstration of how to use pieces of equipment in the gym and their unique benefits whilst delivering the tour.

3:15 – 4 pm: Planning on different ways to improve my fitness business such as setting up private classes and taking different courses in order to discover my own niche.

  1. Plan on how many interactions you are looking to have with members on the gym floor, the number of consultations you are looking to book in, and the number of sessions weekly.
  2. Do another qualification that meets your interests so that you can have your own niche and add to your portfolio. Having your own niche will enable you to be different from others that are in a similar profession to you.
  3. Ensure that you have your documentation ready when someone is about to register for your services such as health screening questionnaire, contract agreement, price presentation, etc. Learn more about different training methods, different human body systems such as the muscular system, and different exercises to experiment. Ask for constructive feedback from your clients whilst providing your services, as this would enable you to assess the positives and areas for improvement that would inevitably work towards unlocking your true talent.
