I’m a London-based artist with a highly process-driven practice, rooted in an exploration of material and language. Solo exhibitions of my work have been organised at the Sursock Museum, Beirut, Lebanon (2019); Bétonsalon, Paris, France (2019); Chisenhale Gallery, London, UK (2019); Lehmann Maupin, Hong Kong (2019); The Mistake Room, Guadalajara, Mexico (2018); and Lehmann Maupin, New York, US (2018).
My mornings and afternoons tend to get mixed up when working in a studio setting; the tasks change daily.
- Prioritise decompression/downtime and get at least 6 hours of solid sleep each night for good immunity.
- Nourish and maintain relationships with people that recognised your potential from the start. Notice those in the room who stay silent.
- Stay true to yourself and consistent with your practice regardless of who is watching.
