Kyle Brown

VIDEOGRAPHER

I first started filming as a freelance videographer in 2010 whilst studying Video and film production at University. I established myself as a filmmaker throughout the next 5 years travelling the world working for many different brands until currently being hired as a Videographer for PRETTYLITTLETHING creating video campaigns.

AM

After breakfast on-site, I check my emails to make sure all projects are up to date. I then meet with Brand Creatives and Directors to plan out upcoming shoots.

I then begin to plan for the next video campaign by researching new film techniques and audio.

 PM

Before any shoot, I make sure all the equipment and lighting for in-house shoots are up to the correct standard and make sure all health and safety measures are followed and then assist the Videography team with all shoots and edits.

  1. Be proactive in creating. Film is art so don’t wait around to create art. Enjoy the craft long before trying to make it a career.
  2. Practice Practice Practice!! Too many videographers make the mistake of waiting for work as an excuse to get out and practice their look/style. Just go out and practice as much as you can.
