AM
- Turn on my computer and open my latest file (Important! I tend to procrastinate if I don’t have my PC on)
- Take a look at my painting (will be able to see with a fresh eye)
- Think about how to improve the painting while getting something to eat
- Communicate with clients (give progress / get feedback / etc)
PM
- Get some progress on the painting (If I have commissions I will usually use a minimum of 4hrs on work and the rest for my personal work)
- Doodle some
- Get some more progress (mostly grinding)
- Write down what to do tomorrow
- Consume art
- Write down a to-do list the day before. This keeps me from slacking too much.
- Keep an eye on the official artbooks of my favourite games/movies. Official artbooks are an excellent example of great portfolio layouts!
- Once you’ve finished a client’s project make sure you send it to the client before sharing it online. Trust me I’ve made that mistake before.
