I was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. My passion for music began when I was a little girl. Now, I sing and play the piano, drums, and transverse flute. I got my degree in Songwriting at the Fermatta Music Academy and have been teaching early childhood music classes since 2010. I have also been the voice teacher and director of the high school choir at Prepa Tec Santa Anita since 2011. I performed and sang the lead role of María in the musical West Side Story at Teatro Diana in Guadalajara City in 2013, performed as an opera singer and solist at The Magic Flute in 2013, and performed in The King is Born opera in Mexico, Paris, and New York between 2013 and 2018.
Since 2011, I have been the lead singer for the group Lirica Nova, singing and giving concerts all over the world in countries like France, Austria, Germany, Italy, and Japan. I have also been a singer for a pop-rock band called Meld since 2017 and we perform at various social events in Mexico. In addition to all of this, I teach private vocal coaching lessons to singers in Guadalajara and wrote the book “Reading and Writing Music,” a workbook for kids to learn about music theory.
AM
First, I wake up and take my coffee to school where I teach an early childhood music class for 2 hours. Then, I go to the gym to get a workout in so I have energy for the busy day ahead. Next, I record vocals and choir arrangements for the high school choir. Finally, I eat lunch and get ready to go teach at the next place.
PM
My afternoon starts with teaching high school choir, preparing the kids for the current semester’s musical or show. Next, I have a late-night rehearsal with my band at our studio. My day ends with preparing for the next day by planning lessons and getting everything ready for another busy day.
